Academic Accomplishments

In the Fall of 2010, I co-authored a paper that has been subsequently presented at two Communication Association Conferences. The paper studied national coverage of homelessness in America for the year prior to and the year following the fall of the Lehman Brothers to interpret how Americans thought and felt about who was responsible for dealing with the "homeless issue."

In March 2010, this paper was presented at the New Jersey Communication Association Conference in Newark, NJ.

In November 2010, this paper was accepted as one of eight outstanding papers authored by Lambda Pi Eta honor society members and was presented at the National Communication Association Convention in San Diego, CA.

In the Fall semester of 2010, I worked in a small group of four to complete a Public Relations plan for an on campus organization, the TW Fitness Center.
